Louise Lee
Louise Lee is a
Child Trauma Fellow and family law attorney. Her law
practice is primarily focused on children’s issues.
Ms. Lee earned her
B.S. in Child Development and Family Relationships from
the University of Texas in Austin. While earning her
degree, Ms. Lee was a research assistant on a project
that studied parenting and attachment issues. She has
worked with children of all ages—from training high
school students to work with high risk children in their
communities to teaching young children as an early
childhood educator.
She received her
J.D. from the South Texas College of Law, and while
there, was the Early Childhood Educator for The
Children’s Museum of Houston. At the museum, she oversaw
successful early childhood programs, led parental
education workshops, and conducted community outreach
programs. Ms. Lee also trained groups of adults in the
community to work with children in after school programs
with an emphasis on group dynamics. As a fully qualified
early intervention specialist at MHMRA of Harris County,
Ms. Lee provided developmental evaluations, instruction,
and case management for children with special needs.
Ms. Lee has been a
volunteer with Children’s Friend in Court and is an
active member of the Association of Family and
Conciliatory Courts. Ms. Lee frequently receives court
appointments from the Harris County Family Law Center to
represent children.
